I was going to go apply for the jobs today. It was 69*F yesterday, it is 13*F right now but with the wind chill it's -15*F. It's a blizzard and very slick on the roads today. I have a small car with only front-wheel drive. My mom has 4-wheel drive and it took her 30 minutes to get to work. We live 3 miles away from her work.

I'm very disappointed. I had my courage up and everything :(

Sensible not to drive today Linc - I've had a couple of slides on ice (and once aqua planed in heavy rain, which was freaky), so I can understand you not wanting to go out.
As mister B says - it gives you more time to get more courage up for tomorrow :)

You can do this, you know. Do it in steps if that helps. So rather than think of 'Getting a job', which is a big thing, break it down. First step - go to the office and see what help they can give.
Next step - apply for something
Next step - go for interview
And so on.
