Does her doctor work out of hours?

It's your call really - as a friend you know best whether the situation needs attention. Hope it turns out ok. No harm in calling for help if u are worried.

As long as you're taking care of her and making sure she isn't going to harm herself, then an emergency ambulance is perhaps not necessary, unless you are seriously concerned for her welfare.

Perhaps ring NHS Direct on 0845 46 47. That is 24 hours, and they could give you some professional advice rather than us.

In the mean time, try not making a fuss or make out that she acting strangely, and try keeping her calm/ or content, but keep your eye on her, whilst you decide. I would ring it now.

I completely agree with Mayfair, but I feel that she needs to be sat down and talked to and for someone to ask if she feels okay ... she will probably say she is feeling more than fine, as thats how you feel during a manic episode. I always think what must go up up and up must come down down down. And as much as she is not doing any harm at the moment, coming "down" can be quite dangerous and might cause her to think about harming herself after feeling so extra good.

Thats just what i think ... at the end of the day it is down to your feelings as you are the person in this situation right this min. Keep posting as long as you can use this account, it will probably help you to share your questions with all of us here that will 100% support you. :)

She is 14, yes she is young, but old enough to know that writing on the walls is not normal

She is either attention seeking or is actually going a bit crazy!

If she is 14 and with you all this time- why is she not at home with her parents? Or are you at her home? Because if these are not her walls to write on then what a mess!!!!!!!!

neither did my parents when I was her age but if people continue to hide what shes doing from them they will never believe otherwise. Why dont you speak to them...what about your parents? Its after 9pm do they not want you home? Have your friends parents not cooked her a meal or seen her eat for three days?
