Hi guys,
I have a close family member with severe self esteem issues; i.e he cannot stand himself for who he actually is (not a physical hate). he isnt self harming as far as i know, but this has been going on for a couple of years.
He is no longer able to study, attend university, see people/friends, commit to reading a book, or engage with people on more than a superficial level - he's just sat in his room all day watching tv.
Is this depression? Anxiety? Just someone wallowing in self-pity?
Cheers for any insights you could give!
