I can't get over the fact that I am going to die. I don't want to live forever either. But I just can't get over the idea that I might drop dead any minute.
I'm not afraid of being dead, either, I'm afraid of getting dead.

Any thoughts?

al lot of people have fear of dying and whether this is a phobia or something else would be something for your doctor to decide, However, all the research I have done shows that there is a correllation between OCD, anxiety and depression, all of which can display obsessive behaviour. There are different types of anxiety and ocd etc and depends on your 'symptoms' combined with other behaviours they may find that you could have one or the other and treat you accordingly.
Is there anything else you notice when you have thoughts like this?

Well, they are recurrent as hell. I can't go a day without thinking about it, and the pills I'm on (Prozac) where supposed to help me with that (doc said the also help with obssesiveness, which she said I have, not OCD, though)

Are these the first type of meds you are taking? they may not be the right ones, you will know fairly quickly if they are the right ones. Thats what Ive found anyway. But you need to really describe the way you feel to the doctor for them to come close or correct to the ones that will be the best for you.
thats what I think anyway.
thinking of you

Have a chat with your doctor about it and he will advise on the dose and hopefully these thoughts will repressed.
