Maybe the spider is looking out for you. I believe that sometimes with animals.

Awwww, I used to be a bit afraid of spiders but they are such helpful little critters, catching all the flies. I think it's Harry Potter who sees the spiders as his friends. I like to look at them that way too. Do you have a favourite animal or critter midnight?

creepy crawly wise i like butterflies and ladybirds as well

i'm terrified of snakes though :panic:

i think i know where that comes from ......... one of the scenes in animals of farthing wood shows Adder killing one of the foxes (bad side fox) but he seems to be in pain as he's dying :panic:

that scene scared the crap out of me when i was a kid :panic:

I love cats too. They are so loving and intuitive. I also love the big cats like tigers and panthers. At the moment rhinos and elephants are my favourites.

That is a scary scene, but actually a lot of snakes are very shy and gentle. I used to have a corn snake and he was a very shy sweet boy who used to nuzzle into my hair and hide.

You know, the snake would probably be more afraid of you, but that is a good hiding place! :grouphug:
