I have had intrusive thoughts since probably the 6th grade. Of either self-harm or harming people I love and then having extreme debilitating anxiety over it. I'm now in my late thirties and I'm in experiencing obsessive thoughts about my hair specifically having anxiety of losing it. I am obsessing over it looking at it in the mirror every 5 minutes. I'm not losing my hair I know this logically, however I can't help having extremely debilitating anxiety about it. Has anyone else had excessive or intrusive thoughts about your body and or body image? Wondering if this is my OCD or something else.
