Introduction. I am 62 and had a massive breakdown due to workplace bullying, in 1995, and have suffered from depression and anxiety ever since.

My husband died 7 years ago and my depression has become unbearable to live with. I just need a little support now and then

Hi @Lozzie, welcome to the forum.

In 2014 I became over-stressed at work, took some time off due to anxiety and a breakdown. This has apparently developed into a chronic mental illness. Sorry to hear about your husband, it must be difficult for you. Do you have a support network?

Hi sorry to hear that, workplace stress is horrendous. I know a lot of people that I worked with who had our experience. I have had counselling and CBT due to the fact my husband bled to death days after an operation. I have a daughter who lives away and I can't bring myself to discuss how I feel. I hope you are getting help. 💖 xx

Yes, some workplaces are not healthy environments to be in. What happened to your husband sounds horrible. Are you still getting therapy? I've had CBT before and am due to go on another course of it shortly.
