My voices are pretending to be my inner voice again. They keep making negative remarks, trying to get me to have certain destructive and harmful thoughts. They try to have me take ownership of what they say. So as to berate me and control me.

No medication stops the voices I hear. I just have to put up with it as no one who could help me doesn't believe that I've been chipped. All it would take is an X-ray of my head and they would be able to see the device and the wound where they installed it. Trying to get an X-Ray is an exercise in futility it seems. I keep trying though.

You should ask your psychiatrist to do GenoMind DNA testing on you. I had it done and hoping it helps find meds that work for me.

In theory you can’t have an MRI scan if you have metal in your body. It’s a big magnet. I’m going to guess you haven’t been physically chipped (just probability of that would be low) but that doesn’t mean that the voices you hear are any less real to you. At the very least, you know they’re not your inner voice and that’s a great start. You know you don’t need to listen to them.

I don't believe any medication can stop voices, mine certainly can't and I'm on two types of anti-psychotic. If voices go silent it's because they're clever and want to lull you into a false sense of security so you'll come off meds faster.

I do believe our voices can pass themselves off as our own thoughts, mine has been doing it all my life without me realising it but as soon as I started taking medication it sort of banned him from using my 'channel' of thought and now I can tell that it's just him talking in my head and not me any more.

He still says things like he wants his words to be my inner thoughts but it doesn't work, it just makes him look more sad and pathetic. He often has to remind himself that "I am not you" but then seconds later he'll pretend to be me again, I think he just says that to keep filling as much time with as many words as possible.

Not wanting to appear rude but you have been on 3 meds for psychosis and have already presumed that your voices are here to stay.

There are many others that you have not tried from the old first gen anti psychotics to the newer.

By saying that your voices are here to stay after only being on 3 is not really showing a positive attitude to other voice hearers such as myself who was classed as treatment resistive and been on clozapine yet found my wonder drug years later.
