Sorry to hit you with a bit of the Buddha trip but Metta Bhavana might help, Google (or use another search engine of your choice, others are available!), there is a fare outline of the basics on Buddhanet.
Not sure why you think love isn’t something I’m projecting or requesting…?!?

It's more about self acceptance than love in the traditional sense any way it was for losingme, he/she is a bit of a meditator from time to time. :).

It is very difficult to find a person you trust. Who is willing to invest in that friendship just as much as you ... somehow it all comes down to the benefit they want to derive from your friendship. As their problems are always much more important than your personal problems. At least that’s my experience with most friends.
I can relate.

But I really have one friend who has never let me down and I can always count on him. No matter how many times a day he saw me, he always greeted me cheerfully. Of course it's my dog.

An old friend of mine says a dog is better than a girlfriend, the dog is always pleased to see you when you get home from work. :).

Today Bod came back to this forum in a very real way. I’m thankful and grateful for that council. I realise things have been intense for you recently despite the usual mental health issues… but you really help others. 🥰
Thank you for the kind words, now I am getting my photography mojo back I will be coming back stronger now.

My positive for today is going out in a bit for some street photography, one of my main loves in photography.
