I want to modify my regimen

At the last appointment I had with my psych doc, at the end of it he said that in the future we can look into either switching to newer medications or being on a low dose of what I am already on. I feel like modifying my regimen right now. I just want to do it now. I'm sick and tired of having to wait until my next appointment with him just to consider making a change in my regimen. I know what he said at the last appointment with him. So what am I waiting for? I can make changes right now. I still have some Rexulti left over from when I was on it last year. I could make the change right now. I could change the Invega to Rexulti. Or I could call him and tell him what I want to do, and ask for his approval. However, the last couple times I did that, it did not work out. But maybe if I base my potential regimen changes on what he said at my last appointment with him, it would be different...

Hi,
I'd give them a call and say what I'd like to happen, hope it goes well for you.
Take care

Okay thanks Mayflower7. I think I will do that, but not today. I just reconsidered and realized I am probably better off waiting until tomorrow.

I remember back when I was on Rexulti 1 mg last year, I had a meeting with him and he told me, just for informative purposes, that there are higher doses of Rexulti. I did not listen though, and told him that I want to switch the Rexulti 1 mg per day to Invega 3 mg per day.
