I this OCD? Picking with wich side of the mouth eat food

I have a lot of "OCD-ish manners", little things I do, which are very unnoticeables, mostly I do it in my mind and pass inadvertently.

About food, its not always happens, but when Im eating I conciously decide with which side of my mouth chew.

Sometimes I "cant decide" wich side should use, its not something stresful, its just "a thing I do", thats why dont know if its considered OCD.

I guess fits with what OCD sounds like, but not all sure.

Im very "thoughtful" about things in general, and this manner I have I think its part of this (I have other examples too).

Im eating and rests little, I was just eating bread, so I think "Im gonna split the rest of the bread in 3, gonna eat the first 2 parts with my left side and then enjoy the last with my right side". This just takes seconds, its not that I spend time thinking how to eat.

Sorry for making you read about this weird thing when I eat.

Hmmm. Wonder if it could be along the lines of the somatic OCD? Where it's something we overthink that's usually an unconscious action, like swallowing, walking etc. and it can cause anxiety or interfere w the natural action? Do you feel anxiety when doing it, or like it interferes w your chewing?

No, I dont feel anxiety at all. But its like something that my mind "demands" me, demands maybe too strong word, dont take it too literal. Its like something that makes me feel good.

Like "I 'should'eat with the right side", if I do it with the other side I would feel a bit off, like some kind of "imbalance".

I have this feeling of feeling off if I dont do what I think I have to do and imbalance with others manners I have.

Its like those people who dont step the lines on the street, and if you step on one your brain feels off.

I have others examples but are long and hard to explain with just words.

Got it. Well, I'm no OCD expert and have only experienced the somatic type w things I shouldn't be thinking about but do. But you're in the right place, so I'm sure others who have more experience will chime in.:)
