I care for my sister who has severe autism who can only communicate in a few words. She's 20 and I'm 26. Honestly I'm always very kind and caring but she's always saying, 'George move away,' 'George go live somewhere else,' or 'no! no George!' Its really upsetting to me. I can't figure out why that is. Today she wouldn't come in the car with me. Why could this be happening???

I'm starting to feel apprehensive about being around her myself if she's uncomfortable. It really upsets me. A lot of people have hated me too throughout my life and that for a fact is true.

Man Thats gotta be tough. I.m sure you know way more about autism then I do. But it seems to me an expert on the subject could probably help. Because even though I dont know you guys I truely dont think there would be any reason for her to dislike you. I.m just a patient here hanging out to try to avoid my anxiety. So i dont understand the way the illnes presents itself But i dont think you should be feeling like she dosn't like you. Hopefully someone here has will have some incite that can help or maybe theres a site dedicated to the subject where you could get answers

She wasn't always like this and I've been really trying to make sure she's comfortable around me. I think its a phase because there was a time where she hated my other sister too and when she was very little our mom even. Hate's too strong of a word, maybe she preferred to be around someone else? I don't know but I'm sure I'll help her out of this.
