even staying at home any care package the assets including house value are included, one friend this social worker assessed his mother, he was all optimistic then they did a financial assessment and all the care promised had to be paid for

my sister looking after brother in wheelchair and mother in home would say i'm not pulling my weight and i have a nerve saying she should be caring for me

I guess it is a hollow victory that this same brother talked about survival of the fittest. I guess. meh.

We have a family friend who helps out. Bro is here now, but I am not sure if he really gets it. meh. Seemingly dad did not recognise him :eek: TBH I think dad was just angry and upset with him :whistle:

what else did he say at my uncles 80th he said ann (thats my sister) says he's like some 19th century poet in some attic garrot room, and he can starve to death in that attic garrot room for all i'm concerned

really sorry about your dad burt. get all the help you need but that usually means you have to know where to ask to begin with is my expereince or sheer luck or both even

I think bro feels guilty now. meh. He said he is going to spend some more time here.

I am sorta hoping that will be a little better when he comes back from hospital. But if he is not, we will need carers. meh.

We went to see dad in hospital today. The doc thinks he has had a heart attack at some point. I am not sure, but thems the bosses :salut:

He seemed okay. I asked them to get rid of the wax in his ears since he can't hear very well.

Bro was there when i was visiting.

They might move him to a therapy hospital to help with his walking.
