this mite sound stupid but it's really bothering me....

I did something I often do, I fed the birds, seaguls, from out my window, I live on 2nd floor so it's good watching them all swoop down and fight for the bread etc.

I threw out all I could find for them, but then I realised my neighbour opposite had her/his washing out, all whites, bed sheets and stuff....the birds might have shit on their washing and I feel terrible, I didn't think.

The neighbour has took in the washing now, it was emmiedietly after I fed the birds, so obviously it did piss them off and no wonder.

Should I go and apologise? Or wait until i see them in passing and mention it?

Gosh I know it's not the end of the world but it seems so awful. I am depressed and it's another thing to worry about.

My boyfriend and I have fell out again and I am an emotional mess :(

Maybe it might be nice to say sorry- you didnt realise about the washing.
some people can get upset and blow these things out of proportion. my husband parked in my neighbour's 'parking' space once when we were courting and this made my neighbours so angry!!! they held it against ME for ever!!!
(and we lived in a terraced street with on road parking!)

but if you think confronting them will make them madder then leave it. !
do you know your neighbours?
please try not to chew yourself up over it x

i had to log off at 5pm.
i think your also worrying about the stresses with your BF too which is making you feel worse.
please dont be hard on yourself- you didnt know the birds would do that!!
ps- i love the noise seagulls make when they 'laugh' it makes me smile.
i dont hear it as much now ive moved further in-land. i miss that noise a lot.
