That's good news that you're healthy.
I'm sorry to hear about your business though. Unfortunately it has happened around here. A lot of the well established businesses have closed and aren't being replaced. Although depending on the type of business large companies are replacing the smaller ones. It makes it tough to compete with them.

I've went out and tried working for other companies as an employee. It's really hard after being you're own boss for many years. Sometimes it's political and the connections that get you the good jobs. I've had a couple good jobs after I lost the business. Unfortunately it didn't last when
management changed or the people I knew left. After the last situation I had with losing my job I just fell apart. I just hope I can pick myself back up again. I've always handled stress well and this time it really effected me.
As you’ve been recommended counselling, give it a go and see if it helps. Hang in there.

Hi Rider52

How are things with yourself at the moment. How are you feeling about the counselling?
I attended six counselling sessions when I was battling depression and they were a massive help.

Hi AL123,

I seem to be doing a little better than I was. My anxiety doesn't seem as bad in the mornings now. I'm still struggling some, but feeling more like myself now. I haven't decided on the counseling yet. I'm just going to keep myself busy with usual activities, try to be more positive, and see what happens. I'm glad the counseling has helped you.

Hi AL123,
I seem to be feeling a little better than I was. I had a busy weekend, which was nice! I still struggle with anxiety at times though. The depressed mood comes and goes. I'm just hoping eventually I will feel myself again. How are things going with you?

Hi Rider52
Good to hear you’re having some good moments. Anxiety can come and go and I’m sure you’ll find ways of coping with it. That’s how I deal with it. I’m sure you’ll get back to how you want to feel, just try and be patient.

Glad to hear you had a nice weekend :). It will be a struggle sometimes and the depressed moods will still be there from time to time, but doing things like keeping busy and believing in yourself will be a huge help. Try your best to stay nice and positive as well as thinking positive. As Cassius says keeping patient will help in the long term too.

I'm all okay thanks had a lovely weekend. Have you got much going on this week?

Hi AL123. Glad you're doing good. I've been pretty busy this week. I went for a bicycle ride the other day. I think getting excercise helps some. I feel like I'm improving, but at other times it's a struggle still. Just wish I could figure this out. That's part of the reason I feel this way. Hopefully I'll feel more like myself again soon.

Hi AL123
I have some good moments, but still struggle at times. It that same cycle of feeling anxious and a depressed mood. I usually keep busy and take a rest if I need it. How are things going for you?

It's good your having good moments. Long may they continue. You will still have struggles at times. Always take rest time if and when you need it. You don't want to overwork/ or overstress yourself out. How are you this morning? I'm okay thanks, Monday went quite quick for me which was good!

Hello Rider, seriously you either have depression or you don't there is no "i might have depression" about it.
See your doctor and they will forward you to the Wellbeing Service. You will need medication to move forwards but please get help sooner rather than later :)

Hey AL123 and Rider
How are you guys ?
I’ve had a couple bad nights, couldn’t sleep. Saying that, I did have a few good hours when I didn’t care about the future and felt good. At that moment I think wow it’s over ! But it comes back like a bad smell and makes me feel rotten again. If I didn’t work for myself I’d take 3 months off, perhaps never go back to work. Live a basic life instead of being part of the Rat Race.

Hi Cassius
Sometimes I feel like I'm improving and other times I'm at a low point again. I have a lot on my mind lately wondering if it's just stress or something else. I don't know what to do just yet since I've been everywhere for professional help. I still continue to keep up with my daily routine though. I hope things get better for you soon.

Keeping to an active routine is a must, and it’s probably why you get those good moments. It’s what I try and keep to.
It could be down to stress but it’s hard to pin point as all these feelings including anxiety, depression, are down to our own thinking.
All the best for the weekend.
