It may not be cancer, just because you have a swelling.

There could be lots of reasons for it so hopefully it's something minor that will clear up soon. I hope that your visit to see your doctor will put your mind at rest. Please try not to worry too much :hug1:

Hope that you get on well at the doctors and it turns out to be something less serious. x

Thanks. Fingers crossed its nothing serious. Can't stop worrying though. How I will cope if it is cancer I don't know. What with being depressed and hearing voices AND being completely alone in the world. People receiving cancer treament tend to rely on other people and I have no one. The treatment for cancer scares me more than the cancer itself.

One in three of us get cancer. I'll be surprised if there is no one else here suffering it.

Try not to worry, easier said than done. It maybe nothing and so try and keep your mind off it. Just think days of worrying maybe for nothing and just think of all the things you could have done with that time. Sure you will be fine. There is always people that will support you. Thinking of you.

I have a mole - which needs testing for malign -- Frankly I wouldn't give a shit. My mum suffered so badly with treatment ahe would have been better off dead ...

The NHS are fucking loopy --- There told what to do - Dr's are fucking crazy ...

Just check out the cander rate in men and women over the last twenty years -- its gone up 20 fold ...

Why???

Look at what you've had to eat

Tescos crap is what you can afford right? Not the motivation to cook ... face chips in lard

should be safe - if you want to live..

If it is cancer then I face surgery and radiotherapy. Radiotherapy has many side effects that scare me: red sore skin, soreness of the throat, fatigue(that one will disable me) even cavities in your teeth. I see my doctor tomorrow.
Still haven't given up the fags, just cut down to one or two in the morning.

Part of me is almost glad I'm dying.

>>My mum suffered so badly with treatment ahe would have been better off dead ...

Did she survive?

I know it's a fifty/fifty chance these days.

I went to the dr and she said it didn't look like anything serious. She gave me a mouth spray and I have to go back in a week and maybe have to see a specialist.

I'm doubtful about the spray though.

You never know, it might improve things.
I'm glad the doctor has said they don't think it's anything serious.
How are you feeling now? Do you feel reassured?

I still wake up and the first thought I have is "I have cancer". I still feel scared. I doubt the spray she prescribed will do anything.:panic:

Went to see my gp and he says it's definitely not cancer but probably a cyst. I have to see my dentist about it and they will tell me if it has to be removed or not. So I face somekind of surgery. It's the initial anesthetic I fear the most. Right into my tongue? what more sensitive area could you have a needle?

Ive got my tongue pierced and believe me its not that bad. They can use some spray to numb it before the needle too. Also survived cancer, non hodgekins lymphoma to be precise stage 3 or 4 I forget but they said I had 30% survival. I must admit while I was ill I was a tonne more positive about life then I am now
