I was put on standard rate daily living component which is £55.10 and the claim lasts 2 years and 6 months. I'm just over £10 better off a week than I was with the DLA. I was expecting to have to go for a face to face interview with ATOS but that did not happen. I just today received the decision which is just over 2 weeks after they received my forms. My CPN told me that they contacted her also.

Just found out today from a letter from the DWP that I may be entitled to severe disability componant on the ESA benefit. This means I could be getting an extra £61 a week on top of what I already get, this is great news :). Bad news is I've been getting less money than everyone else for the last 6 years. I've been getting £160 to £170 a week the past 6 years. If I had of known about this ESA add on I would of appealed the DLA decision which was for lower rate.

I did not qualify for PIP and I haven't bothered to appeal. Congrats on your claim, really glad for you. :)
