I feel very suicidal and the thoughts are very intrusive, the only thing that is stopping me is i don't have a method that is painless and works enough times to be worth the risk, as a failed attempt will, prevent be from joining the army one of the few things keeping me going rn ngl. Or i could be stuck in a position where i be unable to make another attempt again, such as being paralysed. I really don't know what to do, i gone to therapists, GPs etc. and my next appoint is in 2020, a long way away. I just can't see myself getting better

I’m sorry you are going through this right now. I can only tell you it eventually will get better, you just need to hang in there. If it gets too much, please go to an emergency room. People there are trained to help you.

In the meantime, you need to find some activity to distract your brain. If you are planning on going into the military, a long run will help to diffuse some of the emotion tied up with your anxiety, and get you prepared to pass the physical test for the job. Use exercise to exhaust yourself so that the anxiety is more manageable.

I'm so sorry you aren't getting the help you need. Try getting in contact with your GP again, maybe make an emergency appointment. Please keep trying, they aren't legally allowed to neglect people that are vulnerable and potentially going to harm themselves. If you are in a crisis/have made plans you should go to A&E or contact 111, they should be able to direct you to a crisis hotline or give some guidance on what to do. They should also log this on their system (for future reference) and/or contact your local crisis team, who can visit you. Mind has a lot of info on their crisis page here: Crisis services | Mind, the mental health charity - help for mental health problems

They are crap and I've been there myself, so I get it. I was trying for months on end. It takes a lot of work to get the help you need for some stupid reason. But don't give up on them, even if you have to insist, demand, shout and scream. They will have to get you the help you need if you let them know just how bad it is.

i already have an appointment, and that was after kicking and screaming etc. and any extra fuzz would affect my army application which would just give me even less reason to keep on living

You could try to get this appointment brought forward, be truthful about your situation and what's going on, no harm in trying. Contacting crisis teams will also help in getting this appointment brought forward, there are ways around the system - as f*cked as it is. Also try to not too worry too much about your army application being affected for now. Focus on yourself and get the help you need, your health is what needs to come first.

Trust me i already tried getting it moved forward but they don't have any appointments free any time sooner, i really tried to get a earlier appointment but there really isn't one unless i go private which i can't afford. Please stop focusing on this point i tried
