its a long story

the short version is rescue took her in when she was living on the streets someone had abandoned her and her kittens most of her kittens died then i took her on once rescue and their vet decided she was well enough to get rehomed, then she turned out to have asthma and the vet thought she only had about 2 years left she developed other health problems as well and she made it to 4 years living with me idk for sure her exact age but her asthma seemed to get really bad again, vet saw her and tried other medication, but she then started having fits so i took her in to try work out what was causing the problems, she turned out to have a big lump in her tummy, 3 in her chest and it had worked its way up to her brain, she passed away in my arms at the vets

It sounds like Ebony went through a lot of trauma, and so did you. So sorry. It's not your fault though and you don't need to punish yourself for it. You've been through enough pain.

so you gave her an extra 2 years
on her life expectancy
because of your kind loving care of her

so you did only good to her

Midnight, you’re a wonderful meowmy, you’re devoted 100% to the loving care of animals. I’m sure wherever Ebony is now, she’s purring away knowing she was loved at last.
