The feelings of emptiness, abandonment, not feeling worthy, as if you don’t matter all stem from negative core beliefs you hold about yourself. Most hold these feelings from childhood. However, it doesn’t mean they are relevant today. They are just thoughts. It doesn’t mean they are true, even if you are convinced that they are.
Try to ride this wave of emotion until it subsides and you feel a little better. Exercise, yoga and meditation all help to slow you down and balance the mind. Equally repeat the following to yourself.
I am worthy
I am loveable
I deserve to be happy
I do matter.

Do you ever wish that the people that make you feel this way could feel exactly what you are feeling, what they've cause. They would crumble would'nt they. I bet they could'nt have even imagined there could be such emotion pain.

You are right. We are on either end of the emotional scale and the suffering end is truly horrendous. I have managed to pull myself out of the emptiness through an awful lot of self help. It can be done! Be aware as nobody else feels emotions as we do, they will never understand us, unfortunately. So WE have to find the strength to understand them. Therapy and self help will teach you how to control your emotions.

I would not want anyone to feel the hollowness I have felt at points in what passes for life.
Even if i felt they made me feel this way though I typically just blame me and figure I am just a pariah of some sort.
I hope it gets better for you and Lunus you give good wisdom truly.

Thank you my friend. BPD coupled with negative core beliefs about yourself are so difficult to manage and overcome.
The only way out imo is to fully embrace Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Mindfulness, meditation, Yoga and exercise will all aid you keeping calm, which in turn allows you time to think and begin to regulate your emotions.
