I've been on two different types. Citalopram and Sertraline.
I've not touched mine in around two or three years, but I think I'll be starting them up again. From what I've gathered here it can take a while for them to start working, and even then they might not be the right ones for you.

Two - first Prozac, which didn’t work well for me, and then Zoloft (Sertraline), which did. But yes, the process can take awhile, since the medicine needs to build up in your system before you can judge whether it’s working or not. Then, if not, you start the process again.
