How do You think ??

I've asked this before, but there's a lot of new members since then

I think mainly in words:

I'll think: ' I must go to the shop '

OR: " I must feed the bird ' - I actually think the ' Words '

Some people think more in " Pictures '

How do you think ??

I think for me it's kind of both..words and pictures. But sometimes I just stare into space and I don't think I'm really thinking at all then.

me too,i think in both words & pictures .

most times when i am thinking its like a dream but i am awake instead.my mind dreams a lot when i am asleep & awake.

I'm not good ar visualisng pictures and I cannot draw or paint

perhaps people who think more in pictures are better Artists

i am REALLY bad at art but think in pictures,i also think very clearly in video too,just like if i was watching a film.

I too am not good when it comes to visual imagery. I always struggle when asked to try guided imagery/visualisation for anxiety/relaxation .
My drawing ability is probably lower than that of a 7-8 year old.

Definitely words.
Sometimes have to look hard at something to think but it's not usually pictures.

For me, mainly word, I physically move my tongue is if I am talking allowed too (don't know why, just seem to get muddled up if I don't).

I am actually a pretty good drawer, I am doing an art course. I do have difficulty with annotating my work though because when I am working on a project a single image will just randomly pop in to my head and then goes away. Don't know how it got there or anything so find it hard to explain it.

I think in words , I feel like am missing out as cant see pictures in my head at all...only got words and feelings.
