I’m not trying to trigger anyone but I want to know how do you know a person is schizophrenic?

Truth is......….You don't. Schizophrenia is such a broad spectrum it is really difficult. You would never believe that I have a schizophrenia diagnosis. Yet here I am sat in front of a screen aft6er a hard days work. Working with the public.

The people in my job with small kids don't know I have schizophrenia because to meet me I just seem like everyone else. I'm afraid to tell them in case they say I can't work there anymore... that's happened before. It takes a careful eye to notice small nuances that something is amiss.

I never told anywhere i worked about my true diagnosis. They new i had depression but nothing else. On a few occasions when i was becoming ill my behaviour was questioned tho

Nobody has ever guessed it. Only once a disabled girl asked if I had a disability.

The p-doc told me I have it in 2010. I suspected it before then since my voices were going nuts. I was originally diagnosed with psychotic episodes back in 2000. I guess my episodes were just too chronic.
