How Can I Get Through The Weekend?

This feels impossible and I'm enduring each hour. Will every weekend feel like this for the rest of my life? Weekends are the worst time as I think everyone else has a husband and Daddy there. They have plans and enjoy them and they are probably the highlight of the week. I know its not like that for everyone by far but it all feels intolerable and I don't know how many more I can take.

I tend not to go into town or anything as don't have much money and shops on Saturdays are usually very busy especially this time of year.

Just being low and oversensitive.

I agree, weekends are very difficult.
There's this idea that everybody is having a wonderful time, socialising and having fun.
It can make staying in and being on your own seem quite depressing.

Are there any particular things that you can do that won't involve money?
Like going for a walk somewhere nice, watching a TV series or film online etc.?
I suppose it does depend on where you live and what's there.

Do you read much? Sometimes going to a library on a Saturday can be a pleasant way to pass the time.

Am sorry you're feeling low though. x

Thank you - have been on a lovely walk with my children. Forced myself out and looked round a Charity Shop. I never used to feel like I was just "killing time" but it feels like that a lot these days.

I try to keep active as cannot afford much on heating but do have it for an hour or so in the early morning to help with getting up. My children never complain of being cold and we just wear extra clothes in the evenings. Libraries are fab - we haven't been there for a while but we all love books.

Has Rained nearly all day - can't do this anymore. Feel exhausted and will not be here for another weekend. Unbearable.

I know this was going to be a tough weekend for you but it's nearly over. Soon it will be Monday.

What is making it so unbearable for you?

Because I don't want to be here anymore and Weekends seem to drag the most. Each hour feels like a week and life isn't meant to be like this and other people don't feel like that.

When you feel rubbish every minute, second let alone an hour feels like a week.

Please try and stay strong. Are there any distractions you can do while inside?

Keep talking :hug1:

Trying to be a good mum - they say I look sad. Will go to bed in about an hour when they are all asleep which is wasting my life. Marliee - can I Self Discharge from CMHT or will they realise I'm just getting worse all the time. They asked if I had these thoughts and I said they'f ind out, they've got it in for me.

Other people do Juliet!!!
...but yes, life shouldn't be so hard. It's not your fault though or anything you're doing. Sometimes life gets us down and it sounds like you have a lot to handle.

When I felt like you....I tried to get through each day with something to focus on. You mention children? They normally provide that....but find something small and nice/rewarding for yourself too if you can.

We want you here next week-end and you can get through this. Stick with us online when you can't find a way through. We'll support you.

Sometimes sleeping is the best medicine. Hopefully that will make you feel better.

When it comes to CMHT then in answer it could and also couldn't, I think it's a bit of pot luck.

You sound like a great mum. Kids pick up on sad faces and low mood .... they don't miss much do they, no matter how hard we try!

I'll leave Marliee to reply about the CMHT....I don't know enough about your circumstances....but hang in there OK.

lots of love
