Wondered how many other people are being triggered by Lily's self harm story line on Hollyoaks.
It is really making my urges unbearable.
Just in need of some support right now.

I no longer watch Hollyoaks, but they had a self harm storyline in the past and I found that triggering. If I’m low, I can be triggered by instances in other shows myself

You’re not alone being triggered by things like this. My best advise would be to try to avoid these triggers until you feel safe, or safer. That may mean getting a bit behind in episodes but it’s for the best x

I`m not much of a soap fan, but interested that they include sepsis in the storyline.

Sepsis

I`ve attached a link for info about sepsis. Generally it can be triggered by an infection, so ties in that S/H could put you at risk of it.

Sorry this has made you feel so bad Foxjo, look after yourself and stay away from it for now. Can you watch something lighter hearted instead? I hope it soon starts to occupy your thoughts less. Do you need more support and are you able to get any from anyone you see? Take care and I hope these feelings pass soon  x
