hi everyone, i hope everyone is feeling well [as well as you can be].
i am emlyn,i am transgender FtM.
i am severely autistic amonsgt other issues and have severe pyschotic depression.

i live in a specialist care home and get two to one support,im at the stage now where i am facing a section in a acute hospital for people with intelectual disability but its in another country because theres no places left in this one. not to say im going there because im fighting it every step of the way,i dont want to lose my home and my pet rabbits.

ive just had my prozac upped in the past three days, and ive had my haloperidol/haldol upped a lot as well plus ive been given two lorazepam a day.
i try to help myself by using my weighted blanket along with putting my bubble tube on and then listening to binaural beats music on anxiety/depression,i also like to take baths to help myself sometimes two a day.

i feel like absolute dirt.my anxiety is crippling i have ended up in multiple police incidents because of it. i wish i didnt feel like this.:panic:

Hi Emyln!

It sounds like you're going through a really rough time and you're dealing with some truly awful stuff.

I think listening to relaxing music is a good way to try and calm anxiety. I've been told to try mindfulness training a bit more, but the intrusive disturbing thoughts usually distract me.

I should try taking relaxing bubble baths now and again. I don't take them as much as I should!

I hope you enjoy it here and stick around, we're a (mostly) nice bunch of people and you'll find some good friends to support you here!

Love, BlueBerry xxx

thankyou for recognising what im feeling/going through blue berry!
have you ever tried binaural beats through head phones? theres certain videos for me that do help-i also find tibetan singing bowls help to [youtube that one if youve never heard it before-youll either love them or hate them] and videos of the water flowing through rivers, plus a combination of all of them.

have a look for a good bubble bath-i found one yesterday in the supermarket, its an expensive one but has pure french lavender in it-makes the skin feel really soft and the scent helps as well.
the crisis team in hospital were always telling me to take baths its supposed to help, god help anyone who tries to get me near a bath when im in full on crisis mode though.

i am definitely sticking around. :) i dont go on any other forums/groups apart from an autism one on facebook which i co administrate.

hi per ardua ad astra and autumnalsprinkles, thankyou both for the welcome!

I haven't tried binaural beats before, but I'm a big fan of relaxing classical music. Piano and violin in particular. My grandparents used to play a lot of classical when I was little so it has a nostalgic value for me, reminding me of simpler happier times.

My sister loves treating herself to fancy bubble baths, and she let me use her lavender bubble bath once. Made me feel all nice and relaxed and my skin smelt gorgeous. I think I carry a lot of tension in my body. Maybe I should try a massage sometime, but I shrink a little from the idea of a stranger touching me. :panic:
