Hey everybody. I'm not totally sure what to put here. I'm 27, have a stable job and work 40 to 50 hours a week. I want to start therapy but honestly with my hours it is a hassle. I've tried therapy in the past and had bad experiences whether it is being forgotten about, overdosed or just told that I don't need to come back. Apprehensive is not strong enough a word. For a couple of years I started to feel more whole but recently in the past 3 I have slowly begun descending further than ever before. I don't seem to have interests, hobbies, likes, dislikes, dreams, or anything resembling a healthy life. I apologize as my thoughts are scattered. Hopefully, this is somewhat cohesive and an acceptable start.
Thank you for reading,
John

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum
Sorry you are struggling, you need to take care of you.
Hope you can find a decent therapist and find the time.
What treatments have you tried?
Take care

Thanks! I have tried a few medications and talk therapy with various professionals. I was overdosed on the medications each time. And, yes, a therapist/aprn forgot I was a patient of hers when we called to tell her I was having a severe allergic reaction to Lamictal and was on my way to the urgent care clinic! My faith in therapy is almost nonexistent. I do want to try, though.
