Hi all,

I was so good for so long but last night I don't know what happened. I've got marks all up my arms, not too deep, but many.

I was wondering what self care things I can do, both mentally and physically to help myself out.

I'm currently a bit ashamed right now, I want to do better and I know I can. I couldn't look at my arm when I was getting dressed for work, mainly I thought I don't need that ingrained in my memory... But I guess I gotta look after work today and make sure everything's okay. Little help? Self care, cleaning tips, etc all welcome.

Thanks ✌

Oh I'm so sorry you self harmed :( I would recommend you clean and dress it, then leave it for a few days cause sometimes the more you mess with it and clean it the worse it gets. That way mentally you have time to get used to it without having to look at them every day. I know it's hard when you slip up but you've got this lovely!

Hi,
Please see a therapist or your dr, you need support and help to overcome this.
Put some antiseptic cream on or use antiseptic wipes, then put a dressing on so they heal.
Here to listen anytime.
Don't be to hard on yourself, you've had a setback. You can still learn how to not sh.
Take care

If it's not fresh then moisturising helps. Bio oil can help fade scars. Worth a try.
Welcome to the forum also :welcome:
