I was referred to them and I met two of them a week ago. All they did with me was to ask me a lot of questions which I had to answer honestly, no matter how random the question was. They then go back to the rest of the team and feedback with their thoughts and they get back to whoever is helping you about what they think. I'm still waiting for my feedback =/
Don't be scared! They were nice with me and I'm sure they'll be just as nice with you *hugs* :]

Hey you are bound to feel scared, but remember they are coming to help you nothing else. My Social worker recently moved to early intervention team and she was lovely. Not that you will be liable to get her but just saying. Take it easy ((hugs)) KS

I have had contact with the early intervention team for many years. They are great, but in my opinion you must have a friendly approach to them. They are either C.P.Ns, Social workers, or I think now they may have added to their numbers with occupational therapists. Greet them as helpers for that is what they are. There is no reason tobe afraid of them. they are just people like you and me, but with specialist knowledge to help you overcome your condtion.
Take care. Listen to them and also tell them of our aprehension and any troubles you may have. They keep your information confidential so you don't need to worry about that.
Best wishes. I am sure they will help.

If you are with the Mental Health Team I should think it is the same as crisis team. Make sure you have all the necessary phone numbers and don't worry too much about it.
