I am in need of help with finding some type of treatment in this area for bipolar disorder. My insurance sucks but I'm out of options. My meds aren't working, I've been depressed for at least 4 solid months, and it is continuing to go down hill. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I feel like I'm running out of time.

Doesn't the new Obamacare cover any of what you need? Don't know, will ask my Ohio Cousin for options for you, he was in coma a year ago and has had major back surgury after a work related accident, he may have some advice to offer in insurance and who to see.

He's not sure, said to get what you can afford and went onto rant about how Obamacare has f***ed everything up and how healthcare in the states is such a mess. Sorry I tried. He's dead against Obama and very vocal about it. Thought he would be more of a help

Thanks for trying. I understand completely though because compared to some states, including KY, Ohio really did get the short end of the stick with health care options. However, being in KY I am not finding anything. We have a monopoly hospital system in my area and magically all 20 something therapist/counselors/psychiatrist are booked for two months minimum. There is a local place that works with no insurance and medicaid but there are some shady things going on I feel with their "pharmacy" so I can't go there. Sorry I know it probably seems like I'm complaining too. It's just I've self paid before, in Ohio, and decent care. Yeah the meds eventually stopped working but on some level it was much better care than offered in KY. Thanks again for trying.
