Serious sex anxiety. I cant watch sex on tv alone. If I'm watching with my wife, its crippling I feel angry, inadequate, n think oh bet she's done it like hat with other men. It must come from insecurities n the fact she was my first but I was far from hers. Didn't know where to post this....

I feel crazy, it affects my life massively, if my wifes looking fir stuff to watch im anxious inside hoping she won't put something with sex in on. She does know how I feel n so doesn't much but I feel I'm stopping her from watching stuff she wants to watch with me. I also hate that she watches stuff like it, remember her watching 'you' n i could barely handle her watching it! Its mad. First time I've opened up about this. Its nice to hear from other people who feel similar. How does it make you feel? Sorry you're suffering too

Totally not crazy, I feel all these things too. Last night my boyfriend came home and told me about a movie he's interested in watching and he checks them for me and he let me know there's no sex in it but there's glimpses of dead naked women with their breasts out and when I say that makes me uncomfortable he has a hard time understanding it. He gets things that borderline porn but can't understand nudity removed from a sexual intent making me cringe. I feel helpless and like I shouldn't even be in a relationship because of how it affects my partner and makes me seem like a crazy person. But why don't we ever challenge the ideals of the people wanting to watch these things? Why has society made if seem more crazy to not want to see these things than it does to want to see them?

Yeh thats a good point. Sorry you feel like this. I'm more than comfortable having sex, just watching it n people talking graphically about sex, I can't stand it. It is more watching it with my wife that I feel worst so it must come from insecurities

My wife wants me to watch sex education on Netflix,thinks it will help me. But she doesn't understand how I feel, watching that would be like a nightmare. I feel like I shouldn't be in a relationship either. I'm even nervous cos she's waiting for next series of You, and I'll hate her watching it. I hate how the world is all about sex now n everyone seems to love it. Wtf is wrong with us!
