Hey everyone. Just a quick introduction, I am in my early 30s and have been battling agoraphobia for roughly 8 years now. I just recently learned what I have been facing actually had a name. My wife is amazing is ironically enough struggles with the same thing. Happy to be here!

Hi and :welcome:

Feel comfortable to ask and participate. It’s a great community here with open minded nonjudgmental people. I’ve learned so much since being here for almost 3 weeks.

Enjoy your stay🙂

I feel awful today but I feel that this is a safe space too.

I can't sleep and I have been having bad medication side effects and feel scared of my father who I live with.

Sorry to hear that my friend.
Try to listen to ebook or a story that will distract you in hopes of falling asleep or to forget about your fear.
Don’t be afraid of your father. He’s the most caring person about you and the right person to be around. You have no legitimate reason to be scared of family.

I hope you feel better soon.
