Hello everyone I am new to all of this and not sure if this is the right spot to post this I apologize in advance if I ramble. I have been experiencing things differently for the last 2 weeks. I feel sort of high headed and have a hard time focusing on things. There's kind of a lingering thought persistent in the back of my head like something's not right. I haven't been sleeping well my mind wonders and thinks about the craziest things while laying in bed. I've noticed that my vision seems different not worse I still physically see the same it's just like my perception is different. I've never had any mental health issues that I know of. When my mind is occupied for I'm busy on a task I feel almost fine but when alone with my thoughts and thinking of this weird not right feeling sometimes I feel as though my heart is beating faster and the symptoms worsen which maybe in my head I'm not sure but there's definitely an effect. Lastly all of these symptoms and this feeling started after I accidentally ate a large amount (50mg) of THC edibles ( I was on a trip and my friend had brought them in not a frequent THC/ weed user) and had a really bad "trip". The day after and the following day I felt almost like a hangover but these two weeks following the symptoms listed above have remained I do feel better the second week than I did the first. If anyone has had a similar experience with this kind of behavior or a bad experience with edibles I would really appreciate your advice thank you.

To calm your mind, a little less time in the fast lane of life, less TV and online, read a book, do a jigsaw puzzle, a little time in nature... When resting or unable to sleep. Single Point Connection - that's focus on one thing, a vase of lowers, a photo or a beach, just one image, hold it for 10 seconds, then another image, hold it - compliment yourself, and another, minds nice and calm now - if it isn't go again... and practice flying around your local park, you can do this mind power, but slow now... good luck...

I know that there are a number of people here who have had mental health issues crop up after recreational drug use so hopefully they will read this thread and chime in.
