the gp said she thought i had a heart attack after a ecg, she was referring me to a cardiologist, i haven't been able to make another appt to sept

got letter from the patient referal service saying they hadn't heard from me, i didn't know i was supposed to contact them, phoned the no, got told i'd be contacted in 2 weeks and if not given a no to phone, phoned it today as 2 weeks got put in queue for 20 mins then it went dead, phoned again now waiting

is it worth trying to prolong my life, my dad before he died said i'd rather you were dead and my mother said he thought i'd be better off dead than on that housing estate

my family since my sister has started a family in malta, well me and my illlness are an embarrassment and they'd rather there was no me to explain

And is my quality of life that good on benefits in social housing, probably there are even drs who can't see the point of prolonging it

don't know why i'm bothering to phone this no as one women friend said my actions belie my words

they've answered some women who could hardly speak english said i'm on a waiting list and i'll be contacted

they have trouble in london with english with a brummie accent

I've got heart trouble too, sort of agree with you. I don't really care to be around much longer. Hope things change, sort of connecting with people here think maybe things will change for the better. My doctor said i wont live past 60 with my dodgy ticker, but what ever. Day by day is how i'm doing it

I am so glad you are willing to go and get further treatment. My heart is no good either. I will not go because they will put me hospital where I can not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. I have a family toa young son.

after reading your post I should do something myself. Here in the USA they take you hospital overnight to monitor condition.
I just came back from a 1000 mile trip and I was not allowed to drink or hardly smoke while there. Did not bother me. So what is my problem. FEAR-I am with you on this one ramboghettook Love you and keep calling. I am proud of you. Jules

i haven't heard anything back since been told i might have had a heart attack, phoned up been told i'm on a waiting list, spoken to gp on phone once had to be booked waiting to sept for the appt

i wish i had more detail so i knew facts instead of worrying

i even wonder if been on the american welfare might be better than been under the nhs, wonder if i'd get better care

American welfare would get you into emergency care asap. We are very up to date on heart attacks and have quite a few laws in place. You would not have to wait that long here. if you have a serious heart condition. Love and hugs Jules

I am on welfare here in USA and it is called Medicaid. If you go to hospital you are referred to a doctor and then I do not know. I am at high risk of a heart attack and I do not go to emergency care here as they keep you overnight if not longer. I can not be away that long-That is kinda of stupid of me to think that a heart attack will wait. I just smoke cigarettes and do not want to go. Soon now that I hear what you are going through.
