My anxiety can manifest in many ways, have collapsed with bradycardia before. The last paranoia I had was believing CMHT were going to plant a microchip in my head. I feared they would come to my house to do it while I was asleep. My CPN said I had psychosis at first but psych said it was anxiety induced paranoia.

I don't really believe in psychosis, in my experience it was a period of time that my voice was messing with my mind and I was unaware of him and his ways, it's the same with paranoia, my voice was the one feeding it all to me.

It's funny how opinions vary so much between professionals.

I believe I have experienced psychosis in the past, but was sort of aware that this was paranoia.

My CPN wanted me to report the 'psychosis' to DVLA and everything. Said I was unfit to drive. Luckily for me I went to see my GP, who called it paranoia, and told me to wait until I saw psych. When I saw her she said it was anxiety induced paranoia and there was no need to inform DVLA as I was perfectly fit to drive. Good thing I didn't listen to my CPN!!

Having different opinions and diagnoses from professionals can have a very adverse effect on someone. I know the stress of the possibility of losing my license really affected me.
