I don't know how to take charge in an appropriate way,.. do you know ? I'm so frightened of losing control like I did back then.
Times a healer, and I have learnt many new techniques and have finally found a way out of this, & how to control my thoughts and behaviour in regards to these voices/experiences.
Mindfulness & Meditation - As simple as that,.. I've just needed lot's of practice and to recognise when I'm falling unwell and take extra time/space out to relax when I'm heading to crisis point, rather than trying to ignore it until it's too late.

Have to say - That this particular time when I lost it, was also caused by something very bad happening in my life. Without going into detail, I think the majority of sane people would have done exactly the same thing.

I suppose it is a good lesson for all us, to treat the people we know with kindness and respect - so...we don't become a 'bad' voice...forever doomed inside a person!!!!!! :E

This person I don't see, I choose never to see again. This person has done very bad things to a family member.

People often say - Out of sight, out of mind, strange saying to people like us, where it doesn't quite work that way lol.

But, yes... otherwise I know exactly what you mean :).

Thanks KS.

Little do we realise how much we're progressing. Many times I feel that I haven't got anywhere by improving my mental wellbeing, but then when I really do take a step back and look at how things were years a go, I can see that i've come a very long way indeed - And you too no doubt.

I'm a far cry from how I used to be, I was very ill back then (years a go) & I can now see that I'm closer to recovery than ever before, despite having the odd occasional short episodes.

I just wish I could live Med-Free, only I don't think it's going to happen. Having taken them for 17yrs now, I'm dependant on them forever - or so it seems.

Hope you're well KS xx
