I have generalised anxiety and I'm constantly worrying about my health, I have no idea when something is a rational thing to worry about and when it's not and going to the doctors gives me a lot of anxiety. I'm only 18 and having to do things like that for myself makes me very anxious and insecure. I have been worrying about a small hard red bump I have had on my breast for a while and I need to book a doctors appointment but it's so overwhelming.

Is there anyone that can go to the dr with you for emotional support?

Do you have a comfort object that you can take with you?

How about some calming music to listen to in the waiting room?

Also sometimes writing my symptoms helps me stick to the facts

lumps should be checked. It doesn't matter how many times you visit.
