Hiya everyone.

Had the endocrine clinic today about my overactive thyroid. They said that they HAVE seen cases of hyperthyroidism causing hypomania but cant say 100% if that is what made me hypomanic. It does sound likely but i suppose only time can tell. I have to get my whole thryroid removed, which is quite scary. But i have to do it as they dont want to risk me having another episode.

So the bottom line is i just have to wait and see if i have any more hypomanic episodes. I just someone could tell me for definate. Never mind.

thanks for helping me deal with this.

Crikey!! I just replied to your other post Toona - now I see you're having an operation. Good luck with that., Hopefully it will be the source of your Hypo-mania. And you will have no further episodes.

Hope everything works out for you after your op TOONA and that your mania will end there. It must be a difficult time for you in this period of uncertainty and instability. Keep smiling:hug:
