Just wondering if anyone has ever felt like somebody has completely ruined a hobby of yours

It could be any hobby, and you can enjoy it for any number of reasons.

Per my trading card hobby it was pretty simple, basically buy packs, see what I get, sell any extras worth selling, and use that money to reinvest and get closer to a complete collection (for example when a set has 120 cards, I would try to get 1 copy of each)

The selling component to it is in shambles, but I think at the very least I still might get back into it purely as a buyer

But if I do go back as a seller I am gonna have to do things differently, forget about selling cheap cards because it's too much work for not enough profit, that's what got my PayPal account messed up to begin with, because they dont care about reality, only perspective

If I sold 3 cards for $50 it's not as much of a mess trying to prove i didn't RIP the customer off, compared to selling 3000 cards, "profit margin" would be much bigger (although its hard/impossible to actually profit, it's much easier to minimize losses) and i could just make fewer sales to a small group of customers for an even smaller rate, and not even risk having a dispute put against me in the 1st place

But these are just thoughts, I still think maybe I should just simplify it further, and only buy or maybe trade rather than sell

Trading has hassles too, but I guess at least there wouldnt be so much $ floating around that could be held back from me for no reason

Anyways I still have months away from any further releases to think things through and decide if I feel like I wanna jump back in, or stay out and only buy for my own collection

TRIGGER WARNING!

I had a male sparring partner permanently injure me when I was taking m.m.a. years ago. But I should have taken care of it. But I loved fighting too much. Now I have to use medical items for it for the rest of my life. I may even need surgery. So both of us ruined my hobby. If I ever get well enough to box. I wanna box him. He can't step on my foot in a boxing match. I wanna break his face and give him permanent brain damage.

I was getting too many powerful kicks and punches to his face and body. He couldn't handle the fact a woman was kicking his butt, a shorter lighter woman mind you. That's the only reason a man sparring partner would stomp on a woman sparring partners foot as hard as he can. He couldn't stand the fact he was losing to a smaller woman!
