Graphic self harms thoughts

does anyone get graphic images of self harms they can do to themself, in their head?

i keep getting them but have not acted on them :panic:

I used to but not any more. I use Mindfulness to counteract these intrusive thoughts. We have a brief intro to it on here.


At first it takes ages to do but now I can control them in seconds. Try it out Midnight.

Oh there's not hurry. Its not something to try when you are upset anyway. You need to be in a relatively stable condition to start learning it and then you will find it helpful when you aren't stable. That is what I found anyway.

It's okay midnight. I understand and am starting to have them more as well. I hadn't really acted on my SH thoughts for a number of months... and then I did the other day and since then I have been just like ' F it" and my mind just goes there. Try mindfulness or meditation.

I Have that and when I act on them it's like I did something right and the next card comes up with the next thing I need to do. Like a game with levels.
