Giving a command in thought needs to be worded properly

Voices often say things like 'don't say anything' or 'shut your mouth'. What they specifically mean is stop thinking because in reality your mouth is already closed and you aren't really 'talking' but 'thinking'. I noticed that unless you give a command logical in meaning that is specifically what you mean then it will get lost as jibberish.

So I say this back to the ghosts that they mean stop thinking not talking. When I say stop thinking to them it gets really quiet. So will I but because its me saying it I usually disregard and start rambling on in thought again:).

Excellent observation. Sounds as if you've found something which works against them. Congratulations.

(Gods, that sounded trite. It wasn't meant to. It really was a sincere congratulation.)

So you're in control of your voices now?
I wouldn't say I'm ever in control of the voices. They are leaving me alone for now. But eventually I'll probably get curious and stick my head in that rabbit hole of spiders again, staying up late on purpose or partying.

So you're a polytheist?
