Getting Up In the Morning

Hello,

Does anyong have any technique they use to get themselves up? I'm fully aware that it's a complete cycle what I've got into now - as in, I wake up late, miss a lecture, panic, have to rush to do work, but because I've slept in late, I can't get to sleep on time...soo....the next morning I sleep in again!

The thing is..my alarm always wakes me up - I've just been too down lately to take any notice. My doctor gave me some stuff to help me sleep - but I'm a bit warey of it cos it'll make me drowsy the next day. I know if I can just get up at the normal time for a few days I'll start to get into a habit - and then I'll start to feel better because I'm doing things and getting out of the house!!

Any ideas?!

When I'm lucky enough to get sleepers they don't tend to make me drowsy the next day, but then everyones different. I'd advise just taking the sleepers for a few nights then maybe this will get you back into a more normal routine of going to sleep and waking up.

I wish I knew a way of getting up. If I have to get up I manage it somehow but it just wipes me out the next day.

My sleeping is a bit more in control now, but I am still doing around nine to ten hours a night.

when i struggle to get up i tell myself to count to 20 then i do the counting, and force myself out of bed.

I will try that one tomorrow Dolores. Worried I might be back asleep by 16 though. ;)
