i just wonder who started the petition some dbt therapist hoping for more money, in some ideal world there probably are alternatives to the drugs i'm on but this is a world with an underfunded health system, i guess if you want you can join some org advocating revolution
People like you,are the reason, funding gets cut.
You have no guts,to sign it.
Do you even care about others?
I am sorry, but your remarks,to me,sound very heartless and very cold.

when my dad was in hospital dying after a stroke there were all these nurses milling around, i had seen on tv a inner city gp saying rather than interventions that give someone a few years at most she'd tackle poverty

the money comes from somewhere, if someone takes a large slice of the cake theres less for everyone else, if your socialist worker you'd tax the rich and make the cake bigger for all, and there wouldn't be that problem, laudible as the idea is so far it hasn't actually happened

i do care about others i care a lot but money that is spent on some therapy that may not work in most cases can be spent on things that work

in an ideal world as i said i'd like therapy instead of meds but this isn't an ideal world, this is a nhs short of resources, i don't vote tory and support it unlike the silent majority of people

i don't know much about dbt, my experience of nhs mental health services is in practice they're only given to people who don't want them, by vicious people, i'd rather they were closed down and the money was put into the benefit system, if people then use the money to go to the pub it'd probably do more good

dbt seems an expensive use of money for what it is

i wasn't too happy when that psychiatrist said it but new broom and his diagnosis was gone in 6 months, i remember the psychiatrist said i could workm and this support worker got nasty making comments about a training course for suppport workers at his works i could join, and how after pating the rent for a one room flat on the edgeware rd he only got 50 a month more and who wants to work for a measly 50 a month

the support worker embarked on a relationship with this really attractive support worker and they were saving up towards the deposit on a shared flat, maybe that should be factored in
