I find myself in a constant battle with my weight. I am not overweight according to my BMI but any weight I gain all tends to be in my stomach and neck areas which I hate.

I love being able to fit into my trousers (btw much easier than using scales) and not struggling to exercise, etc etc but food (especially the naughty stuff like chocolates, bread, sweets etc) brings such a huge releif to my depression, anxiety, sleep. Especially since I haven't smoked/used any nicotine for weeks.

I know this is all obvious but it feels good to write about it. Any tips? I am a bit of a novice when it comes to dieting, it's only something I started worrying about a few years ago, I know a lot of people have lifetimes worth of experience with it.

Hi,
If your BMI is okay I wouldn't worry, if you diet you may fall into the underweight category.
Just have occasional treats, I know it's hard I comfort eat.
Take care
