Finding it really difficult to fight these negative thoughts lately.

I convince myself that people hate me and say nothing but negative things about me.

I've currently got workmen here (again) and I'm sitting here a mess in my head because every time they talk quietly, I convince myself they're talking about me. I feel like they're passing judgement on me and my home. My mind even goes as far as thinking that they're thinking negative things, even if they're not saying it.

I hate people being in my home. For this very reason.

I just keep telling myself that they will be gone soon.

this is mostly paranoia, you think negatively about yourself so you believe everyone else is too, but the likelihood of everyone else thinking the say way about you is little to nothing unless you've done something bad personally to them

Hi there,

Trust me I know how it feels to think that everyone's talking about you, it's something I've had to deal with a lot in my life. It's very unlikely that they are saying anything negative or rude about you, as I've come to realise in recent years. I think as long as you're perfectly nice to them and don't give them any reason to dislike you, then they'll be fine with you! :) But on the other hand, sometimes we come across people in life who just don't like us and that's okay too. I think it's healthy not to be liked by everyone, even if it does hurt a little. But that paranoia gets the better of me too sometimes. I hope some of this helps xx
