I've been feeling very depressed lately. It's a deeper depression than I'm used to. I feel barely functional. I have no energy, no motivation. My brain feels like it's filled with a fog. I can tell I'm physically moving slower. I don't like this at all. It's going on the end of week 2. I have no idea how much longer this will go on. Usually it doesn't go much longer than this.

I really just needed to get this out to someone who might understand. I'm starting with a new therapist, but can't see him until next week. I'd schedule sooner appointments with my current therapist and nurse, but I'm overdue on bills there and can't see them until I can pay. I'm not sure where else to turn.

do you think you might be quite hard on yourself
and need to allow yourself a break to relax and enjoy things ?

I do know that I'm rather hard on myself. I'm not sure if taking some time is really what I need, I did just take a vacation a few weeks ago. Though I definitely could use to be easier on myself.

k maybe you could just switch off from worrying for one hour
and give yourself permission to read a bit ?


I find if I can't switch off, then I can't switch on

k great, even if its just 10 minutes you might get the hang of it

Well, thankfully it turned out my depression was hormonal, so it's passing.
