Feeling Empty and Down

I go between anxiety, feeling empty, and down. It has been over a year now. I've tried everything like exercise, hobbies, spending, time in nature, etc. It helps some, but I still struggle. I've tried getting help numerous times and just keep getting referral after referral. I haven't been able to find a good doctor yet. Mental health services are very limited in my area.

Hi Rider, I can relate it took years for me to finally get the help I needed. have you considered trying to look in another area or perhaps seek help online? Maybe you can find some advice on this forum, there are many people here with similar experiences that may know of somewhere you can find better help. Maybe it will help talking with people on this forum, it has helped me. I hope you find a way to feel better soon. Take care and best wishes.

have you ever tried St Johns Wort....it is a herbal remedy to treat depression.

I haven't. I've taken meds for anxiety before though.

Create happy moments because happiness is a choice and you can do it.

Music helps me. Music is therapeutic. Listen to good, uplifting and encouraging music on youtube.

Also, do what you love doing or what you are good at. It will do good to you and make you happy.
