Hi everyone! Can’t sleep and going through this loop in my head right now and I’m feeling very afraid. Trying to vent.

I deal with this thought daily and can shrug it off if I keep myself busy. I say a prayer every night before I go to bed asking for another day and I remind myself that every day I thought I was going to die but and didn’t, so it brings me comfort. But right now, I’m going through this loop that I won’t see my son grow old. It’s like another thought in my head telling me to appreciate these moments right now because they won’t last and that he won’t grow old. it’s making me soo sad. I’m questioning if this is just an intrusive thought or some physic insight into the future? I’m just tired of always thinking something bad is going to happen to either one of us. I’m high functioning and no one has any idea that I worry about this constantly. So draining.

If you believe in god you can not be physic, I am suffering some think like you where I believe I am being watched all the time, I don't know how to stop you worrying but you wake every morning, so god is watching over you. and remember god will only take you when he is ready and not before.
All the best woolie.

It's an intrusive thought. You may benefit from seeking guidance from a counselor. Mindfulness techniques can help to counter these type of thoughts, and ease your mind.

Definitely intrusive thoughts. When my panic attacks first started it was all health related and I used to be too afraid to go to sleep convinced I wouldn't wake up 😕 it does get easier xx
