I was diagnosed with anxiety disorders. And I have a major trigger with drs. They labeled it as a phobia, but I fear them because of bad experiences not because of illnesses or diagnosis. Ive had drs misdiagnosed me, refuse to change my medications when I had a bad reaction. I mean I tell them the side effects and they don't listen. I'm so exhausted from fighting with so called professionals to do their damn jobs.

Doctors are as clever as beans. Really listen to them. And think.

I want to give you reassurance but I have to put things in to context without trying to trigger you.

In every industry and profession whether it be the health care system or retail or manufacturing you will always get a bad experience along the way.
Doctors are human just like us and some doctors are nice quality driven people that want to help. The minority of doctors do not follow this way of thinking. Some are narrow minded some think their way is the only way and some have a god complex.

It sounds like you got a doctor from the minority and this now has given you the power to see that sometimes doctors get it wrong.

The first thing I would say to a new doctor is "things have gone wrong in the past and I am very anxious that the same mistakes will happen again"
This will immediately pick up the doctors ears. He/she will respect your honesty and the doctor will make sure that the care he is giving you works with you.

You must speak out when things go wrong or when you are not happy with the treatment. You are the patient the doctor works for you not the other way around.

Always ask for a second opinion, it's your right.

The more open you are to your doctor the better as some doctors will not notice your disapproval and then not take your point of view in to consideration.

99% of doctors listen to the patients. It's just unfortunate that you got the 1% that didn't.
