I don't know if this is related to my OCD or not. I also have Major Depressive Disorder and have been having some dissociation issues. I have been in a funk for several months now. I have issues when I am falling asleep or I wake up during night or early morning. What happens is either it is like my body is awake and my brain is still asleep. Lately I have had more issues with my mind racing a million miles a minute and extreme need to go back to sleep like I'm being put under. It is hard to grasp a thought and ground myself and I panic. I tend to obsess about this the entire rest of the day that I'm going to be trapped inside my head and catatonic. It doesn't help with the dissociative symptoms at all. Has anyone experienced your brain doing weird and scary stuff while going to sleep or waking up? TIA

Yes. I take 200 mg Lamictal before bed and Trazadone as needed for sleep. I can take up to 150mg but 50 usually plenty if even need it.
